Small landscape pot

These are unique hand thrown ceramic pots made here in Ireland by an independent potter. Each piece is decorated and made by hand. The glaze is carefully applied in layers to give a painted drip with various affects. As such every piece is different and holds unique interesting features from front to back. These can be used for plants , tealight holders or just as trinket pots. They are stoneware and can also be used as cups for cold drinks as they have no handles.

As they are all slightly different I will send you an image for you to select from before posting.

How its made.
I use many materials and techniques. Some are slab built, pinched and sculpted others are thrown and decorated. I also use a wide range of various clays and Glazed. Each piece is unique and handmade by myself here in Ireland. Most are fired at least twice in the kiln, first to around 950 degrees and then to 1220 degrees or more for the glaze. Some times the temperature varies depending on the clay and finish.

About me
I am an Irish artist and ceramicist born and living in Ireland. I started creating in 2009 when the recession hit and have never looked back. I think without creativity and fun life would be empty. I love what I do and I hope that you will find something here that you can enjoy for many years.
